YouTube Channels / Podcasts

The following channels have consistently good and timely content related to agentic software engineering. I recommend subscribing to them and spending time each week watching their videos. You might also consider looking through their past videos for highly-watched ones or ones on topics that you find interesting.

Matt Pocock

Matt has produced a number of useful things such as his skill library (including the “Grill Me” skilled used in this class), agent terminology, etc. He also has his own for-pay training material that is quite popular. Watch for practical tips and resources.

Nate B. Jones

Nate produces content similar to Matt’s, but focuses a bit more on providing insight on agent technology trends, high-level forward looking concepts, strategies for deployment of agentic development, what development work will look like in the future.

Maximilian Schwarzmueller

Similar to the two above, but focuses more on tool use and training. Max has a bunch of useful Udemy courses (and courses on his own platform) for Claude, Codex, the Pi coding agent, etc. For the past six months, I have recommended his Udemy course on Claude as one of the best ways to ramp-up on Claude.

The All-in Podcast

Round-table of tech entrepreneurs and venture capitalists that discuss the business side of AI, other technology trends, US national technology strategy, etc. The best content is the weekly round-table pod-cast that is released every Friday.
